It's my birthday!

"It's my birthday. It's my birthday. Not really. Go anyway."

Weeks 2 and 3 have been drastically different for this little guy.

We have learned so much during 2.5 and 3.5 weeks.

1. We went to the doctor last week for his 2 week check-up.

Gaines gained 1 pound...up to 8lbs. 4oz.

2. He started sleeping in his big bed and loves it.

3. He learned a new dance move as documented above.

4. He started smiling while he was awake.

5. He is learning to talk!

6. HE ROLLED OVER!!! (from his stomach to back)

7. He enjoys tracking his rattle friend, Mr. Owl, from side to side.

8. He likes his mobile.

9. He likes sitting up in his boppy pillow.

10. He absolutely loves outside and strolling.

11. He loves listening to the birds.

12. He likes bathtime in the sink now.

13. He loves music. He was introduced to NKOTBSB this morning

 and was hooked. But mostly we listen to classical.

14. He likes to sleep in his swing . (but he does get tired of being photographed)

15. During class time the last couple of weeks, we have learned

about the color yellow. And the many objects that are yellow:

 the sun, lemons, bananas, daylillys, the school bus, etc.

He is catching on fast! :)

16. Oh, and his cheeks grow by the day!

17. He spent the night at Mammaw's house...still can't believe I did that so soon!

18. He has gone on several day trips. One to visit his three little cousins, and

one to visit his other grandparents...still can't believe I did this either!
