Mama said, "There'll be days like this"

....There'll be days like this my Mama said. Mama said.

In the midst of busy schedules, traveling, one-parenting, and chaos, I always give Gaines some "Mama days". We had plenty of those days this summer. They are nothing special, but at the same time more special than anything else. We have had this tradition since he was a baby. I have always called them "Mama days". As he has gotten older, he has caught on and even asks for them sometimes. I just try to capture a few moments where we do nothing special but are spending some fun, quality time together when the rest of life is chaotic.

We let Daddy join sometimes too :) Daddy and Gaines went to the shop.

Gaines got to feed the horse and ride 4-wheelers which he is obsessed with now.

House time is THE BEST

This is proof we survived the last of the summer. Daddy came home from his long trip this day. And we were both excited!!
