How do you spend Memorial Day? We don't have any annual standard plans like the fourth of July. This year we were a little all over the place. We had some good friends come into town with their baby that we hadn't seen since he was born. Their family had a crawfish broil, and we joined in on the fun! Sadly, I don't have any pictures of their friends or their sweet boy!
Needless to say ICE was the entertainment of the night.

Gaines was making sure John Brantley didn't eat anything he wanted for himself!
Ms. Jill was definitely the kid magnet of the night. She was worn out!

That was Saturday night fun. Sunday night we drove over to the family cabin for a little outdoor time. Gaines took his first boat ride with Daddy. And boy did he love some peesh-in. He thought it was the best thing!
To get Gaines to smile we can't say "cheese" - we have to say "show us your Gran-Mike face". Not real sure how we started that...but it works.

We were on the road for 10 to 15 minutes before this was our travelling company! Somebody was worn out - even though somehow he got sleep between Mama and Daddy when they got none!
